- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 qt. boiling water
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil
- 8 oz. egg noodles
- 1/4 c. slivered almonds
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Add salt to boiling water, add vegetable oil.

2Add noodles and boil on low heat, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender (about 7 minutes).

3Saute almonds in butter in small skillet until lightly browned.

4Drain noodles and toss with sauteed almonds and leftover butter from pan.

5Yields 4 to 6 servings.
