- 3 c. plain White Lily flour, sifted 2 times
- 3 c. sugar
- 2 sticks real butter
- 1/2 c. Crisco (solid)
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 c. sweet milk
- 1 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 5 eggs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.

3Add eggs one at a time.

4Beat in.

5Sift flour and baking powder together in separate bowl and set aside.

6Start with the flour mixture, adding one cup at a time to the creamed mixture.

7Alternate with 1/3 cup milk until all flour and milk has been blended together.

8Add flavorings to batter.

9Pour into greased and floured pan.

10Bake at 325° for one hour.

11Cool.
