- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp. water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 c. General Mill flour
- 3 eggs
- Sugar Glaze (recipe follows)
- chopped nuts
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Cut 1/2 cup butter into flour.

3Sprinkle water over mixture; mix with fork.

4Round into ball.

5Divide in half on ungreased cookie sheet.

6Set each half into a strip (12 x 3-inch) about 3-inches apart.

7In a medium saucepan, heat 1/2 cup butter and water to boil.

8Remove from heat and quickly stir in almond extract and flour.

9Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms a ball (about 1 minute).

10Remove from heat.

11Beat in eggs until smooth.

12Divide in half and spread evenly over strips. Bake for 60 minutes.

13Cool and frost.
