  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. almonds, chopped or sliced
  • 1/2 bag chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c. ground almonds

Directions

    Put first 5 ingredients in heavy pan and keep on low heat. Cook until temperature reaches 300°.

    Pour into large buttered pan.

    Let set 10 minutes.

    Add 1/2 bag of milk chocolate chips on top.

    When melted, spread evenly.

    Spread ground almonds all over the top.

    Let set until cool.

    Hit bottom of pan on countertop to break into pieces.
