Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 beaten egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.

    Add egg yolk and vanilla; beat well.

    Stir in flour and spread on cookie sheet.

    Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes (light golden brown). Sprinkle chips on hot cookie; let set 1 minute.

    Then spread and frost.

    Sprinkle on nuts.

    Cut in squares while warm and let set up.
