- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 16 oz. chocolate chips
- slivered almonds
Directions

1Mix first 4 ingredients and pat evenly onto cookie sheet (at least 10 x 15-inch size).

2Bake at 325° for 20 minutes or until light brown.

3While still hot, top with chocolate chips.

4When warmed, spread over hot dough.

5Sprinkle with fine slivered almonds.

6Cut carefully into squares while still warm.
