Aloha Fresh Fruit Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into small chunks
  • 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean, sliced lengthwise
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 2 oranges, peeled and sectioned
  • 2 grapefruits, peeled and sectioned
  • juice of 2 limes
  • 2 c. pineapple juice, chilled
  • 1 (25.4 oz.) bottle sparkling grape juice, chilled (Catawba, if available)

Directions

    Combine pineapple chunks, brown sugar, vanilla bean and nutmeg; mix well.

    Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight.

    At serving time, remove and discard vanilla bean.

    Put pineapple mixture in a punch bowl.

    Add orange sections, grapefruit sections, lime juice, pineapple juice and grape juice. Stir gently.
