- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup crushed pineapple
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh gingerroot, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons dark rum
- 20 chicken wings, trimmed and split
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, whisk the soy sauce, crushed pineapple, hoisin, crushed pepper, vinegar, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and rum.

2Place the wings in the marinade, making sure they are thoroughly coated.

3Marinate for 4 hours in the refrigerator.

4Preheat the oven to 375.

5Remove the wings from the marinade with tongs. Reserve the remaining marinade.

6Place the wings on a 2 inch deep baking dish, making sure you spread them out flat.

7Bake for 15 minutes, then turn and baste with the remaining marinade.

8Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
