- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 qt. half and half
- 2 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. golden raisins
- 3/4 c. sliced almonds
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
Directions

1Pudding:

2Break up bread in small pieces and place in medium bowl.

3Cover with half and half.

4Cover bowl and let stand for 1 hour.

5Preheat oven to 325°.

6Grease a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish with butter.

7In a small bowl, beat eggs, sugar and almond extract.

8Stir into bread mixture.

9Gently fold in raisins and almond into bread mixture.

10Spread bread mixture evenly in buttered baking dish.

11Set on middle rack of oven and bake 50 minutes, until golden.

12Remove and let cool.
