Ingredients

  • 7 ounces flaked coconut, toasted (2 2/3 cup)
  • 13 cup margarine or 13 cup butter, melted
  • 14 ounces eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (Not Evaporated Milk)
  • 13 cup realemon lemon juice concentrate
  • 17 ounces canned fruit cocktail, well drained
  • 12 cup slivered almonds, toasted and chopped
  • 14 cup chopped maraschino cherry, well drained
  • 4 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed (1 3/4 cups)
  • additional fruit (optional)

Directions

    Combine coconut and margarine.

    Reserving 2 tablespoons coconut mixture, press remainder firmly on bottom and up side to rim of 9-inch of 9-inch pie plate.

    Chill.

    In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, ReaLemon, fruit cocktail, almonds and cherries; mix well.

    Fold in whipped topping.

    Pour into prepared crust.

    Chill 4 hours or until set.

    Garnish with reserved coconut and additional fruit if desired.

    Refrigerate leftovers.
