  • 2 pieces ciabatta (Italian bread)
  • 2 slice cheddar or provolone cheese
  • 2 slice mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 medium tomato, deseeded and sliced into 4 rounds
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 fresh basil leaves

    Cut the bread to open.

    Spread cream cheese, arrange one slice of cheddar cheese and one slice of tomato.

    Add one slice of mozzarella and another slice of tomato and put some basil leaves.

    Close the bread and spread butter or margarine on the outer sides.

    Fry the sandwich in a frying pan over medium heat, buttered side down, pressing the bread to flatten slightly.

    Cook until both side is golden brown.

    Serve immediately.
