- 1 c. Herman
- 2/3 c. vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. plain flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Combine Herman, oil, eggs, vanilla and sugar, stirring well after each addition.

2Sift together remaining dry ingredients. Stir into Herman mixture.

3Pour into 2 greased and sugared loaf or cake pans.

4Bake at 350° for about 40 minutes.

5Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans to cool on racks.

6Nuts, raisins, candied fruit, etc., can be added to mixture.
