- 2 c. water
- 2 c. oatmeal
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. yeast with 1/2 c. water
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Bring to a boil water and then stir in oatmeal.

2Add molasses, oil and salt.

3Add alternately yeast mixture and flour.

4Knead 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

5Let rise 1 hour.

6Punch down.

7Shape loaves.

8Let rise one hour.

9Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.

10Makes two loaves.
