- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. light molasses
- 2 envelopes active dry yeast
- 1/2 c. very warm water
- 6 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- cornmeal (for topping)
Directions

1Heat water, cornmeal, salt, butter or margarine and molasses in medium size saucepan until thick and bubbly.

2Pour into a large bowl; cool to lukewarm, about 45 minutes.
