- 5 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1/3 c. warm water
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 pkg. yeast
Directions

1Sift flour.

2Add sugar.

3Cut in shortening.

4Dissolve yeast in warm water.

5Add butter, milk and yeast to flour, sugar and shortening mixture.

6Mix and place in refrigerator.

7Make out biscuits as needed.

8Do not allow to rise before baking.

9Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until brown.

10This dough will keep for 2 weeks in refrigerator.
