  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 2 tsp. warm water
  • 2 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Mix as for regular biscuits.

    Store dough in tightly covered container; use as needed.

    Do not let dough rise in refrigerator. Bake as many as needed on cookie sheet at 350° until tops are browned.
