  • 1 pkg. dry yeast, mixed with 1/4 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Add milk and yeast mixture.

    Knead. Roll out on floured board; cut into biscuits.

    Let stand 15 minutes to rise.
