  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 pkg. yeast, dissolved (or dry yeast)
  • 1/2 c. melted Crisco or oil
  • 4 Tbsp. water to each pkg. yeast

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients together in large bowl.

    Then add remaining ingredients.

    After all is well blended, drop into well-greased muffin tins and bake at 375° until browned.

    The dough can be made up and kept in a closed container in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks.

    Use as you desire for the meal.
