- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. warm water
- enough milk to make dough workable
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Oven: 425°.

2Add sugar and warm water to yeast.

3Set in warm place.

4Cut butter into flour.

5Add yeast and enough milk to make soft dough.

6Pat out on floured surface.

7Melt butter in oven in 9-inch round pan.

8Remove when melted, dip biscuits and turn over. Bake until golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes.
