- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 5 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 3/4 c. oil
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Mix with buttermilk, flour and soda.

3Add oil and sugar.

4Mix until flour is dissolved.

5Roll and cut into biscuits.

6May be cooked at once or let rise for a few minutes.

7(This may also be kept in refrigerator for several days in covered bowl.)

8Preheat oven to 375° to 400° and cook until brown (about 12 to 16 minutes).
