- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 Tbsp. warm water
- 2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Mix flour and sugar.

2Cut in shortening.

3Dissolve yeast in warm water and add to buttermilk, then add to flour mixture. Knead.

4Make into biscuits.

5Bake for 15 minutes at 400° to 425°. Store dough in refrigerator.
