- 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
- grated rind of 2 lemons
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Beat egg whites until very stiff; add cream of tartar and slowly add 1 cup sugar.

3Spread meringue into a well buttered glass pie plate.
