Ingredients
- 1 pkg. plain gelatin
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 3 egg yolks
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 c. milk
- 1 heaping Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Dissolve the package of gelatin in cold water.

2Set aside.

3Mix flour and sugar in a saucepan.

4Add milk gradually to avoid lumps. Add salt and egg yolks.

5Cook until thick.

6Remove from heat and add gelatin and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

7Let cool.

8Beat 3 egg whites stiff with 3 teaspoons ice water.

9Add 1/3 cup sugar.

10Add cooled custard to egg whites; fold gently.

11Place into vanilla wafer pie shell; cool until firm.

12Top with Cool Whip and chocolate shavings.
