Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. finely crushed graham crackers (14)
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. whipped cream

Directions

    Beat egg whites and vanilla to soft peaks; gradually add sugar.

    Beat until stiff peaks form.

    Mix crumbs, nuts and baking powder; fold into beaten egg whites.

    Spread evenly in greased and floured 9-inch pie plate.

    Bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely.

    Whip the cream or use Cool Whip.

    Cut pie. Serve topped with cream.
