- 1 cup sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 12 cup sugar
- 14 cup lemon juice
Directions

1beat egg whites and cream of tartar until fluffy.

4Bake at 275 degrees for 20 mins, then at 300 degrees for 40 mins.

5beat egg yolks until light yellow.

6Add sugar and lemon juice.

7Cook slowly in double boiler until thick.

9Spread the custard over the bottom of the cool meringue pie shell.

10(Dont be alarmed at the small amount of filling).

11Cover and refrigerate overnight.
