- 5 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. oil
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1/4 c. warm water
- plus more flour to make out rolls
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water, add oil and sugar.

2Add rest of ingredients and stir well (you don't need a mixer).

3Store covered in refrigerator overnight.

4Pinch off as much as needed, add enough self-rising flour to make a soft dough.

5Knead by hand a few minutes.

6Shape into rolls or cut with biscuit cutter.

7Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.

8Batter will keep a week, use as needed.
