- 1 13 cups sugar
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 23 cup butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 13 cups flour
- 12 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 34 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375.

2Cream together the sugar, salt, and the butter.

3Beat in the eggs one at a time.

4Continue beating until the mixture is light and fluffy, at least four minutes.

5Add the vanilla.

6Add the flour, cream of tartar, and baking soda and mix until combined.

7Chill the dough for one hour.

8With your hands, form the dough into one-inch or slightly larger balls.

9Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon together.

10Roll the balls in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

11Place the balls on an ungreased baking sheet about 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart and bake for 11 minutes or until done.

12Do not over bake.

13Cool on wire racks.
