Anise Kringle Rolls

- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. milk
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter
- 7 c. flour
- 2 tsp. anise seeds
Directions

1Scald milk, cool to lukewarm (105 degrees), add yeast and stir to dissolve.

2Add sugar, salt, butter, eggs and seeds to milk mixture.

3Gradually add flour, mixing after each addition.

4Use mixer with dough hook if you have one or, if not, when stiff enough, turn out on floured board and knead until smooth.

5Put in greased bowl, cover and let rise until double.

6Punch down and shape into rolls and let rise again.

7Bake at 375 for 15 to 20 minutes.
