Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. chopped walnuts
  • confectioners sugar

Directions

    Mix together the first four ingredients in a saucepan and cook over low flame 15 minutes.

    Add Rice Krispies, vanilla and chopped walnuts.

    Remove from heat; cool 10 to 15 minutes.
