  • 3 sticks butter (room temperature)
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 7/8 c. ginger ale or similar soda

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat in 1 cup flour, then extracts and little ginger ale. Continue alternating flour and ginger ale. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans or tube pan. Bake at 275° for 1 hour 45 minutes.
