  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. chicken fat
  • 2 c. crumbled cornbread
  • 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
  • chicken broth
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Saute onion and celery in fat.

    Soften bread crumbs with broth to make moist.

    Add onion, celery, eggs, salt and pepper.

    Stir until smooth.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes in greased casserole dish.
