- 20 large carrots (3 to 4 lb.)
- 1 c. port wine
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
Directions

1Clean the carrots.

2Preheat oven to 250°.

3In a skillet, cook the carrots in the wine and enough water to cover.

4Boil the carrots until tender.

5Remove carrots to a shallow baking dish. Combine the Worcestershire, butter and brown sugar.

6Pour over the carrots and turn to coat. Bake for 15 minutes. Serves 10 to 15 people.
