- 3/4 c. applesauce
- 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Soak gelatin in 1/2 cup applesauce.

2Bring to a boil rest of applesauce, sugar and salt.

3Add to gelatin mixture and boil 15 minutes.

4Remove from stove and add nuts and vanilla.

5Pour into buttered 8 x 8-inch pan and let set for 2 days in refrigerator. Cut in squares and roll in powdered sugar.
