- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 egg yolk
- milk
- 2 c. Rice Krispies or Wheaties
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 cans apple pie filling or 5 to 6 apples
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar and salt and cut in shortening.

2Mix like pie crust.

3Put egg in measuring cup and fill to 2/3 cup with milk. Mix well.

4Divide into 2 parts.

5Rolls better if you chill for awhile.

6Roll 1/2 of dough and put into a pan, 10 x 15-inch. Sprinkle Rice Krispies on dough.

7Top with apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, flour and lemon juice.

8Beat egg white and pour over crust with a pastry brush.
