  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. chopped Golden Delicious apples
  • 1 c. broken pecans
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Beat the first 4 ingredients well.

    Sift the dry ingredients 3 times and add to the first mixture.

    Add the apples and pecans. Bake in a prepared 10-inch tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
