- 4 lb. apples
- 1 c. apple juice or cider
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Directions

1Wash and core apples; cut in 8ths.

2Put 1/3 cup cider or apple juice and 5 or 6 pieces of apple into blender.

3Cover and process until smooth.

4Increase speed to blender.

5Remove cap and add apple pieces until container is full.

6Empty into saucepan. Repeat with remaining cider and apples.

7Add sugar and spices to apples.

8Cook over low heat about 45 minutes, stirring slightly. Pour into jars.

9Process 10 minutes in boiling water.
