  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 125 g butter (melted)
  • 240 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 12 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 large apples
  • 50 g sugar

    Peel and dice the apples.

    Coat the apples with the 50 grams of sugar.

    Leave the apples for 10 minutes, stirring a little every now and them.

    Mix the melted butter with the beaten eggs.

    Sift the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, mixed spice, baking soda and salt) into the liquid mixture and mix lightly.
