  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 c. self-rising flour (Pillsbury)
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 3 to 4 c. chopped apples (about 5 medium apples)

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add cooking oil and beat well.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Beat well after each addition.

    Add cinnamon and vanilla; mix well.

    Add flour and mix well again.

    Stir in chopped nuts and apples.

    Mix well.

    Batter will be very stiff and hard to mix.

    Spoon into a buttered and floured Bundt cake pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes.
