  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 3 c. apples, chopped fine
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

    Sift flour, soda, salt and cinnamon together.

    Cream white and brown sugar together with oil.

    Add eggs and mix.

    Add flour mixture and beat.

    Mixture will be thick.

    Fold in apples and vanilla.

    Nuts can be added if desired.

    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

    Bake 1 hour at 325° to 350°.
