Apple Cake Square

   Mix in this order:

   eggs, sugar and flavoring.

   Sift dry ingredients:

   flour, soda and salt.

   Add to egg mixture.

   Mix well. Add apple and mix well.

   Add pecans and mix well.

   Add Wesson oil and mix well.

   Bake in 350° oven about 30 or 35 minutes.

    Do not open oven for 30 minutes while baking . Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan which has been greased and sprinkled with flour.

    Let cool slightly before cutting in squares.

    Keep covered to stay moist.
