  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 c. peeled, chopped apples
  • walnuts
  • raisins

Directions

    Cream margarine and sugar.

    Add eggs and beat.

    Add sifted dry ingredients.

    Fold in apples, walnuts and raisins (batter is very stiff).

    Bake 1 hour at 350° in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. While still hot, spread with glaze.

    Serve warm.
