Ingredients
- 1 c. applesauce
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. lemon jello
- 3/4 c. walnuts (optional) or 1/2 c. almonds (optional)
Directions

1Bring applesauce and sugar to boil. Boil for 15 minutes.

2Stir to keep from scorching.

3Add the jello.

4Stir until dissolved. Add walnuts or almonds.

5Pour in small 8 x 5 x 2-inch pan. Refrigerate overnight.

6Cut and roll in powdered sugar and form. Let stand at room temperature for 12 hours.

7Roll again in powdered sugar.

8Store in airtight container.
