- 1 unpeeled apple, cut away from core in small slices
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 2 to 3 slices Cheddar or Colby cheese
- 2 slices whole wheat toast
Directions

1In heavy skillet, saute apple slices in butter briefly just until apples soften. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cut cheese into small pieces over apples.

2Let skillet remain over heat just until cheese begins to melt. Serve over whole wheat toast or with toast on the side.
