Apple Cider Biscuits

- 2 c. flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. butter, cut into chunks
- 3/4 c. apple cider
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Heat oven to 450°.

2Combine dry ingredients; add butter with pastry blender until it resembles coarse crumbs.

3Stir in cider just until soft dough forms that leaves the side of the bowl. Knead into a ball and pat out to 1/2-inch thickness.

4Cut biscuits with 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.

5Place biscuits 1 inch apart on cookie sheet (ungreased); sprinkle with cinnamon.

6Pierce top with fork.

7Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
