Apple Cider Chicken

- 2 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 2 cup Spiced Apple Cider
- 1 tsp Dried thyme
- 1/2 tbsp Dried Sage
- 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
Directions

1Marinate chicken in apple cider for a minimum of 30 minutes.

2Reserve liquid.

3Heat pan over medium heat and add butter.

4Once melted, add chicken.

5With chicken in pan, season the side facing up with the thyme and sage.

6(At this point I also added a handful of whole cranberries to the pan, but that is entirely optional).

7Cook chicken until a nice sear has formed and it is golden brown.

8Flip and cook the other side.

9(This time will depend on the thickness of your chicken)

10Once both sides are browned, add reserved apple cider to pan and cover.

11Reduce heat to medium low and allow to simmer until apple cider reduces and forms a thick sauce (about 8-10 minutes)

12Serve chicken with apple cider reduction as a sauce.

13Pairs perfectly with my Rosemary Roasted Sweet Potatoes.
