- 4 large apples, i use northern spy
- 14 cup water
- 34 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 13 cup margarine, softened
Directions

1Grease a round cake or pie tin.

2Thinly slice the apples and put in pan.

3Sprinkle the water over them.

4Sift together the flour, cinnamon, salt and sugar.

5Blend the margarine with the sifted mixture and sprinkle over the apples.

6Bake at 400F for 40 minutes.

7Serve warm with a scoop of French vanilla ice cream.
