- 20 to 24 apples, pared and sliced
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. butterscotch chips
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Put apple slices in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

3Sprinkle water over apples.

4Mix flour, sugar, butter and cinnamon with a fork until crumbly. Stir in butterscotch chips. Sprinkle mixture over apples. Bake, uncovered, until topping is light golden brown and apples are tender, 25 to 30 minutes.
