- 6 to 8 medium apples, sliced thick
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. flour
Directions

1Place peeled, sliced apples in a 2-quart or 11 x 7-inch casserole dish.

2Blend together with a pastry blender until crumbly the butter, brown sugar and margarine.

3Sprinkle over the apple slices.

4If apples are dry, add water before you put on the sugar mixture.

5Bake in a preheated oven at 375° about 35 to 45 minutes.

6Test apples for doneness at 35 minutes.

7May be served with lemon sauce, whipped cream or ice cream.
