  • 2 c. sliced apples (Granny Smith works best)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, softened

Directions

    Place apples in a greased loaf pan. Blend remaining ingredients until crumbly. Spread over apples. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°. Great with vanilla ice cream. Makes 2 generous servings. Can easily be doubled or tripled.
