  • 5 to 6 c. apples, pared and diced
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 unbeaten egg
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Place apples in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and egg with fork until crumbly.

    Sprinkle over apples.

    Melt and cool butter; pour over flour mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

    Bake at 350° until lightly browned. Serve hot or cold with Cool Whip.
